PROJECT & DESIGN TEAM SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

1. Project & Design Supervisor is in charge of design/technical team. He/she will oversee the day-to-day operations of the design/technical team. Delegating and reviewing job assignments of each team member such as but not limited to the following:

• Does actual site inspection – actual measurement
• Presentation of proposed office layout to client as needed
• Technical meeting with client together with sales representative as needed
• Design and creation of furniture for office working environment use.
• Provision of sketches or prototypes of designs and models for production of furniture for clients
• Provision of technical details that will guide production workers how to construct a product; making sure that the structure of the item is well built and durable enough for which it was designed

2. He/she will closely work with sales and marketing department, production department, purchasing department and delivery & installation group to ensure that the client’s expectations will be met.

3. Conducts training on design developments

4. Guides and motivates fellow employees

5. Creates innovative office workstation layouts, office furniture designs, or presentations.

6. Meet customer expectations; making sure that design quality and directives are followed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Male / Female not more than 45 years old
• Graduate of Architectural Technology or Civil Engineering Technology or Industrial Design or any related course
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, 3D Max, Photoshop, Sketchup and MS Office
• Has technical knowledge of the design process
• Creative and innovative
• Has Effective supervisory and organizational skills
• Has the ability to lead teams
• Has the ability to motivate self and team members
• Has the ability to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Flexible and dependable
• Effective communication skills in both written and oral
